Our environmental program, as directed by the Magna Heath, Safety & Environmental Policy, focuses on maintaining a safe and healthful workplace and sustaining our physical environment.

Through regular environmental inspection audits and corresponding action plans for continuous improvement, we are committed to comply with or exceed regulatory requirements and work towards minimizing the impact of our operations on our surrounding environment.

The first Magna facility to achieve ISO14001 registration did so in 1998. Since then, our global manufacturing operations have been steadily implementing ISO14001; by the end of 2006, 175 of our manufacturing facilities achieved this registration.

Our goal is to encourage best management practices and share best environmental practices across the company.
