We categorize and define our news based upon the following classifications:

• Press Releases
  These are information releases such as our earnings releases, which are considered "material" under applicable securities laws and therefore must be widely distributed to ensure that the information comes to the attention of our shareholders and other stakeholders. In addition to distributing this type of information in the media, we are required to file the press releases on the SEDAR and EDGAR databases of public documents.
• Media Releases
  These are information releases such as annual supplier awards from an OEM which we consider noteworthy and meriting wide distribution, however, they are not "material" under applicable securities laws. We are not required to file media releases on SEDAR or EDGAR.
• Magna News
  These are various features of interest relating to Magna, which we believe our stakeholders may find interesting. These items merit some distribution, but do not merit wide distribution. Since these items are not "material" under applicable securities laws, we are not required to file these news items on SEDAR or EDGAR.
